OverviewYash Mehta is an associate attorney at BKS. Yash graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2024, where he earned a Certificate in Energy and Clean Technology Law and received Pro Bono Honors. While at Berkeley Law, he participated in the Moot Court program and received awards for appellate advocacy, brief writing, and oral argument. He was also a member of Ecology Law Quarterly, participated in the Environmental Law Clinic, and served as a legal intern with Communities for a Better Environment. Before joining BKS, Yash was an associate at Sidley Austin, where he advised clients on environmental and regulatory compliance matters, including California climate disclosure, sustainability reporting, and related regulatory requirements, while also supporting corporate transactions.
