Photo-Stephen KronickSteve Kronick is a founding partner in Bartkiewicz, Kronick & Shanahan. He provides general legal counsel services to several public agency clients which provide water, sewage treatment and disposal, recreation and fire protection services, among other services. His expertise includes water rights, water quality, special district law, environmental law, public sector labor law, construction law, and civil writ and appellate work. Mr. Kronick has represented several public agencies and private parties on matters involving water rights and supply, the development of land and water resources, and wastewater collection, treatment and disposal. This representation has included state administrative proceedings, trial and appellate litigation, preparation of federal and state legislation, contract negotiations, and appearances at hearings and meetings. Frequently this work has required close collaboration with technical scientific and engineering experts. Prior to forming Bartkiewicz, Kronick & Shanahan, he was a partner with Kronick, Moskovitz, Tiedemann & Girard. He earned a B.A from the University of California, Davis (with high honors) in 1972, with membership in Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi, and he received his J.D. degree in 1975 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
